Use corner protectors on each corner of your framed artwork and then wrap the frame with bubble wrap. The wrapped artwork can now be placed between two pieces of hardboard and the bottom of your crate filled with a layer of peanuts. Your piece can be placed on this layer and then the rest of the crate filled with more peanuts. Tape all the edges to seal the box shut.
